GIRL PROJECT

Recently, a NY photographer decided to start a project. The project entailed giving any girl within the age of 13 to 17, a disposable camera and a chance to tell everyone what they see the world as.

Any girl in America who wanted to participate could. The program asked them to take photographs of objects, people, or anything that is important to them, and then send the cameras back to her. Her goal was to get around 5000 photos and turn them into a traveling exhibition.

I think it is a fantastic idea, and you would be able to find how other people see life. The only reason why I do not like it is because she did not include boys into the demographic, but over-all I think it is a great idea.
